At J&B Butcher, we’re proud to be a family-owned butcher shop built by two brothers, Jimmy and Joe, who share a passion for quality meat, hard work, and great food.
With locations serving both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, generations of skill, care, and craftsmanship to everything we do. From hand-cut steaks and fresh ground meats to specialty items and custom orders, we believe in doing things the right way- never rushed, never mass-produced.

Jimmy & Cheryl – OwnersJ&B Butcher | East Hampstead, NH
Jimmy, the oldest of the three brothers, and his wife Cheryl are the proud owners of the original J&B Butcher location in East Hampstead, New Hampshire—the first J&B Butcher store to open.
Jimmy brings a strong business background and steady leadership, helping guide the success and growth of J&B Butcher from the very beginning. Alongside Cheryl, they are deeply committed to providing the community with high-quality meats, exceptional customer service, and the personalized experience of a true neighborhood butcher shop. Their dedication to craftsmanship and freshness set the standard for all J&B Butcher locations.
Longtime residents of Hampstead, Jimmy and Cheryl live locally with their two daughters and are deeply connected to the community they serve. Cheryl is a lifelong Hampstead resident, further strengthening their roots in the town. Together, they take great pride in supporting local customers and building lasting relationships through their business.
Tewksbury
Joe & Lisa – OwnersJ&B Butcher | Tewksbury, MA
Joe and his wife Lisa are the proud owners of the J&B Butcher location in Tewksbury, Massachusetts—the second J&B Butcher store to open. Joe, the youngest of the three brothers, brings his skill and passion as a butcher to the shop each day.
While Joe runs the butcher side of the business, Lisa, a school counselor by profession, supports the shop whenever her schedule allows. Together, they combine craftsmanship, care, and community spirit to create a welcoming neighborhood butcher experience.
Customers can also find Lisa's homemade steak rub, "The Butcher's Wife," proudly featured on the shelves—a customer favorite inspired by family traditions and great home cooking.
The Tewksbury location holds special meaning for the family, as their grandmother lived there for many years, raising her family and establishing deep roots in the community. Continuing the J&B Butcher name in Tewksbury is a way to honor that legacy while serving the town they love.
Joe and Lisa live in New Hampshire with their two sons and are proud to be raising their family close to the communities they serve.
